HomepageRegistration is open for the third European Heritage Hub Forum

Registration is now open for the third European Heritage Hub Forum, focusing on “EU Enlargement: Cultural Heritage as a Key Resource for Cities & Civil Society”. The event will take place from 3-4 April 2025 in Budva, Montenegro, in a hybrid format, both in-person and online.

This year’s edition will concentrate on social transformation, highlighting the role of cultural heritage in supporting social integration, reconciliation, education, and economic growth, not only in the Western Balkans region. During the two-day event, representatives of cities, civil society organisations, as well as researchers and academics, will discuss the power of heritage in enhancing community resilience and sustainable development, promoting best practices and innovative solutions.

The first day will focus on “Reimagining Heritage: Pathways to Inclusive Social Transformation”. Through numerous sessions, we will explore new perspectives on innovation and integration in the field of heritage, including digital and environmental dimensions. The second day will draw our attention to “The (In)visible Thread: Giving Cultural Heritage a more central place within the EU enlargement agenda”, reflecting on the role of cultural heritage in fostering regional cooperation and development, thus supporting the EU enlargement agenda.

Participation in the Forum is free, but registration is required. On-site registration is already closed, but you can still register for the online event. More information about the event, as well as the detailed programme, is available on the European Heritage Hub website. See you online or in-person in Budva, Montenegro!
