European Heritage Hub in Kraków to highlight youth activities

The European Heritage Hub made an appearance in Kraków to lead a half-day-long seminar at the Jagiellonian University. On 7 March 2025, together with academics and local heritage professionals, members of the European Heritage Hub project met with students to discuss possibilities for youth engagement in various heritage issues.

Nicosia Heritage Hub officially opened

The Krakow Hub team would like to welcome the newly-opened Nicosia Heritage Hub to the fold! The last few days of February saw the official inauguration of the Europa Nostra Heritage Hub in Nicosia on the island of Cyprus in the Eastern Mediterranean. The Kraków Hub was represented by John Beauchamp, who made a presentation to gathered notables, diplomats and partners in Nicosia on our ongoing activities and called for deeper collaboration between the Europa Nostra Heritage Hubs.

Dr Katarzyna Jagodzińska has been appointed to the Council of the Muzeum Sztuki in Łódź

Yesterday, on 6 February 2025, the first council meeting of the 2024-2028 term took place. During the course of it, Dr Jagodzinska was elected deputy chair. The museum has very ambitious exhibition plans for this year and beyond. We are looking forward to new openings. ‘St Ives and Elsewhere’ is coming soon.
