On February 20, 2024, the first meeting of the Advisory Councul of the international European Heritage Hub project took place, of which our regional centre of Europa Nostra is a partner. One of the members of the Council is Professor Jacek Purchla, vice-president of Europa Nostra and president of the Society of Friends of Kraków History and Heritage, the operator of the Krakow Hub.
The task of the Advisory Council is to provide strategic advice and support at various stages of project implementation. Its members include outstanding personalities from the world of heritage, culture, economics and management. The city of Kraków, which is also a project partner and co-finances the activities of our Hub, is represented on the Council by the Plenipotentiary for Culture of the Mayor of the City of Kraków, Robert Piaskowski.
The European Heritage Hub is one of the largest heritage projects currently realized in Europe. It is co-financed by the European Union and its leader is Europa Nostra. The aim of the project is to integrate heritage stakeholders and initiatives across Europe and support green, social and digital transformation.
