Applications are now open for the second edition of the European Heritage Hub Small Grants Programme, a flexible funding scheme for heritage projects carried out by civil society organisations from EU candidate and neighbouring countries, supported by the ALIPH Foundation. Applications can be submitted until 20 September 2026. Organisations from the following countries are eligible: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kosovo*, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Ukraine.
The programme aims to strengthen the capacity of organisations, utilise heritage for green, digital and social transformation, reinforce democracy, the rule of law, and fundamental rights and values, and foster peace and stability through intercultural and interfaith dialogue. The regional tracks focus on the Western Balkans (reconciliation, regional cooperation and social cohesion), the Caucasus (protecting heritage in sensitive and diverse contexts) and Ukraine and Moldova (building capacity and supporting crisis response, recovery and sectoral resilience through pilot projects).
As part of this call for proposals, grants of €10,000, as well as grants ranging from €10,000 to €25,000, will be awarded. Applications are submitted via the Good Grants platform in two stages:
Stage 1: Eligibility assessment (by 7 September 2026), covering verification of legal status, financial capacity and project compliance. Only those assessed positively will proceed to Stage 2.
Stage 2 involves submitting a full application by 20 September 2026, which includes a proposal and budget via a dedicated form. A link to this form will be sent to eligible applicants.
