Welcome to the first survey collecting data on the non-governmental heritage sector in Central and Eastern Europe. Our goal is to learn about its size, activities, challenges and opportunities faced. Later on, the survey’s results will translate into the content for individual and group interviews with representatives of the sector in the region within our Mapping of Central Eastern European Non-Governmental Heritage Sector project. The final results will be presented in the form of a report, which will be ready in spring 2025. You can stay with us and learn all about it by leaving your email at the end of the survey.

The mapping project is conducted by Europa Nostra Heritage Hub in Krakow, a partner of the European Heritage Hub, which is an EU-funded pilot project bringing together heritage stakeholders and initiatives across Europe to support the transition towards a more sustainable, digital, and inclusive society. The project runs for an initial two-year period from May 2023 to April 2025.
