During the thirteenth meeting of the KHF on 29th April 2025 we returned to the topic of the city’s intangible heritage at the request of the Team for the Intangible Heritage of Kraków appointed by the Mayor of the City of Kraków. Its topic was the report worked out by the Team.
The meeting was chaired by Dr Jarosław Klaś, Dr Andrzej Szoka and Krzysztof Żwirski – members of the working group preparing the report. During the meeting, the work of the team was presented, the adopted definition of intangible cultural heritage and the planned structure of the report were discussed. This was followed by a workshop part concerning the identification of strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats, stakeholder groups and proposals for recommendations concerning Kraków’s intangible heritage. This was the first of the meetings that the team is holding with the inhabitants of Kraków, and the conclusions of the meeting will be used in the report, which will act as a signpost for the City of Kraków in the field of intangible heritage activities.
