On Wednesday 27 November the Hub team had the great opportunity to meet with the General Secretary of Europa Nostra, Sneška Quaedvlieg-Mihajlović. Also in attendance were Europa Nostra Vice President Jacek Purchla and Board Member Agata Wąsowska-Pawlik.
Head of the Heritage Hub in Krakow, Katarzyna Jagodzińska, presented the Kraków Hub’s activities over the past year, highlighting the mapping of heritage NGOs in Central and Eastern Europe project which is will conclude with a report published in March 2025, Holistic Heritage podcast series presenting features and interviews with heritage professionals and activists – the only such extensive material available in English on topical issues of heritage in the region, Intangible Cultural Heritage of Ukrainians in Poland – a pioneering project realised in collaboration with the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, the Community Archive for Heritage Activism which will be launched next week, as well as ongoing communications and participatory actions.
The team also discussed the future plans for the Kraków Heritage Hub and its activities in the upcoming months.
