Within this project, Europa Nostra Heritage Hub in Krakow will carry out a pilot mapping of the non-governmental sector of cultural heritage in Central and Eastern Europe.
The aim of the study is to build knowledge about the heritage sector in the region, including its size, main interests and activities, the diversity of countries, the challenges they face, needs and expectations. As a result, a report will be prepared along with recommendations and a methodology for further analysis of the non-governmental sector dealing with heritage in other parts of Europe.
The European Heritage Hub project started on May 1 and will run in a pilot formula for the next two years.
dr Katarzyna Jagodzińska (Head of the Europa Nostra Heritage Hub in Krakow), Sneška Quaedvlieg-Mihailović (Secretary General of Europa Nostra) and dr Joanna Sanetra-Szeliga (Deputy Head of the Europa Nostra Heritage Hub in Krakow)
