Our news

Europa Nostra Heritage Hub for Central and Eastern Europe in Kraków is a regional centre of Europa Nostra, a pan-European federation of organisations involved in the protection, management, and promotion of cultural and natural heritage in 40 European countries.

As a platform, we strengthen the voice of NGOs from Central and Eastern Europe in shaping European heritage policy.
We facilitate cooperation between civic organisations and heritage institutions in the region.
We increase the visibility of activities supporting heritage in the region.

Memento Park in Budapest on the list of the 7 Most Endangered Monuments and Heritage Sites in Europe for 2023

On April 13, 2023, Europa Nostra, the European Voice of Civil Society Committed to Cultural and Natural Heritage, and the European Investment Bank (EIB) Institute announced this year’s list of the 7 Most Endangered monuments and heritage sites in Europe. The 7 Most Endangered programme is Europa Nostra’s flagship programme. It mobilises public and private partners on a local, national and European level to find a viable future for threatened monuments and sites in Europe. It offers more visibility, generates additional attention and media coverage. 2023 marks the 10th anniversary of this innovative programme. The Memento Park in Budapest (HUNGARY) is among The 7 Most Endangered sites for 2023.

European Heritage Hub has just opened call for proposals to Small Grants Scheme. It finances projects led by civil society organisations which protect cultural heritage in EU neighbouring countries.
